AMALGAM 2011
The year 2011 has been declared “The International Year of Chemistry” by the UN General Assembly, and it is in that honor that St. Francis College for Women proudly presents its National Chemistry festival, AMALGAM 2011.
The festival is dedicated to emphasizing the importance of chemistry in our daily lives. An entertaining blend of fun and challenging events have been planned to demystify chemistry and showcase it as innovative, interesting and exciting. To encourage participation, the Chemistry Department of St Francis College is making huge efforts to make the national festival immensely appealing to college students.

Venue: St Francis College for Women, Begumpet, Hyderabad-500016.
Date: 15th & 16th September, 2011.
Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Participation: All events are open to college(Junior/Degree/PG) students. Students are required to carry their college IDs. Students from colleges anywhere in India are invited to participate.
Accommodation: Accommodation and food will be arranged for outstation participants depending on availability. So hurry up and register for events!
Fees:
- Entry fee and fees for the various events can be paid at the venue on arrival.
- Entry fee: Rs 50/- per day for each person.
- Events: Rs 20/- per person for each event.
Registration:
- Interested colleges should submit a list of events and the names of the participants along with their telephone numbers on the college letter head duly signed by the head of the institution.
- A scanned copy of the letter should be mailed to amalgam@stfranciscollege.ac.in or sent by post.
- Here is a list of events that require prior registration.
- No payment is required for registration.
- Last date for registration:
- Outstation participants: Aug 31, 2011.
- Local participants: Sept 07, 2011.
