The Mosaic

The mosaic- is the drama club initiated by the department of English. It organizes one week dramatic sessions for the students of the college. The club aims at inculcating the taste for theatre and the various aspects of dramatics. The club stages plays on all important occasions in the college.

Quest Hour

The History club was started in 2004 in collaboration with two other colleges in the city. The club comprises of History students as well as all those who are interested in understanding Indian glorious heritage. The club organizes seminars, stages plays and tableau to mark important events, organizes field trips, heritage walks and also conducting quizzes on important national festivities.

Psycon

‘PSYCON’, is the Dept. of Psychology’s Club. The dept. frequently organises exhibitions, plays, seminars within and outside the college. The aim of all the events held is to bring about awareness among the youth, parents and the general population in understanding the uniqueness and complexity of human behaviour. The Psycon club publishes its annual departmental magazine Psycon 2010.

FIRE

FIRE (Forum for Innovation & Research in Economics) club has been initiated as an impetus to the subject of Economics. It is moving forward with infant steps since its inception in July, 2008. It promotes growing talent through the activities such as Group Discussions, Case Study Analysis, Solving Crossword Puzzles, Quiz and Guest Lectures. It spreads the awareness for the need for knowledge of Economics.

SMILE

The Department of Social Management has launched SMILE club, which stands for Social Management Initiative for Life Enrichment. The main aim is to use the innate talents of the innumerable young ignited minds to create awareness about the social scenario on the country. The major focus of the club is to create a platform for students to take initiative in organizing seminars, guest lectures and workshops, outdoor field trips, conduct competitions, document social issues emerging in the country and dissemination of the same, to promote awareness on social issues through various media.
