Extra Credits
On completion of three years of study, a student of Computer science will earn 130 credits. It is possible, however to earn extra credits in various ways.
- Enroll in certificate courses. You have to complete at least one certificate course to earn your degree. You earn 1 credit for completing a certificate course.
- Take up Sports/NCC/NSS and earn 1 credit.
- Value education is compulsory and you can gain 1 credit for completing your Human Values course.
- The Cisco networking course CCNA is spread over 4 semesters and you can earn 4 credits on completion.
All courses require 75% attendance for successful completion.
M.Sc. Computer Science
- M.Sc. Computer Science students have to earn a minimum of 106 creidts for obtaining their degree.
- Inter-disciplinary courses are offered in semesters II and III. Each IDE course will be awarded 1 credit.
- The final semester project is awarded 8 credits.
