How to Excel in Academics
Students of St Francis work hard and play hard, and as a new comer on the scene, you might find the academic life quite daunting. We have a few suggestions to improve your ability to learn and do well in class:
- Attend classes regularly.
- Study regularly, not just before your exams. Write down points from your text book, reference books - write a lot!
- Create a schedule so that you put in hours of study every day.
- Take notes in class. You'll find handy hints for note taking here.
- Study in groups.
- Submit all your assignments, quizzes and essays on time.
- Participate in all the events in college. Students who are involved in extra-curricular activities are the happiest in the campus.
