Diploma in Television Production (UGC career-oriented course)

most significant artistic and communicative modes of the modern age.
With new developments in media communications opportunities to play
a part in the creative process of television contents are increasing
at a tremendous rate. Diploma in Television Direction and Production
enables students to acquire multi skills which help them to enter the
industry with a cutting edge. It provides an opportunity for the students
to create variety of video productions, allowing them to express personal
creativity while developing the ability to conceptualize story ideas
and effectively translate the ideas into video productions. The course

CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
St. Francis College has joined hands with CISCO and UNV, the volunteer
wing of the UN, as part of the Gender initiative program to help increase
female participation in the ever increasing and talent-hungry area of
networking. We are proud to announce that our CCNA instructor, Ms. P. Manjula,
has obtained her Cisco Certification and is now a Cisco Certified Academy Instructior.
CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) course work in a cornerstone of the Network Academy program. Each of the 4 semesters consists of 70 hours of instruction and hands-on training in a well-equipped lab. The classroom instruction is fully supported through e-learning. Students who complete the 4-semester course will have a distinctive advantage while considering employment options.
Diploma in Retail Management
One of the greatest challenges faced by the retail sector today is the
dearth of well trained retail management personnel. Till recently, retail
was not considered by management graduates as a preferred career option.
Things are changing. Salary packages are improving due to the demand
for retail professionals. Retail is emerging as a science. The industry
is constantly communicating with management institutes on the need to
introduce retail management as a discipline and not just as a sub-set
of marketing management. To this end, diploma course in retail management
is offered to our students. The course objectives are:
- To provide an overview of retail sector with special reference to Indian retailing
- To give insights into Shopper behaviour
- To help understanding the basic concepts and strategies of marketing and basic accounting
- To equip students with practical skills of retailing.
