Master of Science in Finance - M.Sc. (Finance)
This program offers students a rigorous and intellectually sophisticated framework for analyzing decision-making in finance. Objectives:
- View the finance function as an integral part of and the way to implement the strategic objectives of an organization.
- Understand how to measure and achieve the efficient use of financial resources.
- Gain a practical understanding of how risk and uncertainty can be managed through the use of financial instruments.
- Gain an increased knowledge of how financial securities and other transactions are valued in the capital markets.
Eligibility:
- The students are eligible for admission into this program on completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Management or Engineering from a recognized university.
- An entrance examination is scheduled on May 25, 2011. 50% weightage is given for the marks secured in the entrance exam and 50% for the marks secured at the Graduation level. The ranks obtained at the State and National level- management tests i.e. (CAT, MAT, ICET, OU PG entrance exam) will also be considered.
