Bachelor of Humanities & Social Sciences (B.A)
The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the oldest disciplines in the college. It has become popular from its inception attracting students of high caliber. It gained immense reputation as most of its alumnae have been selected by various institutions in India as well as abroad, to pursue higher studies. The students occupied respectable positions both in government and private sector ranging from IAS, IPS, IRS, to V.P HR of various Corporates.
This faculty comprises eight departments at present namely History, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Literature (English), Psychology, Mass Communication & Journalism and Social Management.
Students who have passed the Intermediate examination or its equivalent are eligible for admission into B.A.
